Join us for free food distribution weekly at Tonsler Park. (Remember to bring a bag!)

Are you or someone you know in need of food assistance? Food Sharing is Caring is here to help! We are a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing nutritious food to our community members in Charlottesville, Virginia.

Tonsler Park (Open to the public)

Kindlewood Apartments (Residents Only)

• Day: Every Friday
• Time: 10:30 AM - 11:30 PM
• Location: 460 Garrett St. (In the conference room)

What to Expect

Each Sunday, we set up a welcoming and organized distribution site where the public can receive a variety of fresh and non-perishable food items. Our friendly volunteers are here to assist you and ensure you have a positive experience.

Who Can Come?

Everyone is welcome! Whether you're an individual or a family in need, we're here to support you. No proof of income is required, you just sign in. Come as you are.

How to Participate

1. Arrive at the location at the designated time and volunteers will guide you through the process.
2. Bring two Bags: To carry the food items you receive, we recommend bringing your own bags.
3. Receive Your Food: Our volunteers will guide you as you select food items.
